Booth Jonathan is a recurring character in HBO's Girls. He is portrayed by Jorma Taccone.

Bio[edit | edit source]

Booth Jonathan is a cocky artist in New York City. Marnie is instantly attracted to him and his prestige.

Season 1[edit | edit source]

Booth is introduced in All Adventurous Women Do. Marnie meets him at an Art showing. They leave together, and share a comic moment, before Booth claims that the two will eventually have sex.

Season 2[edit | edit source]

Booth returns in Bad Friend, where he runs into Marnie at the club where she is a hostess. He takes her to his apartment and begins to show her his artwork. After Marnie is in awe at his expertise, the two have sex. In Boys, Booth asks Marnie to host for his event after his assistant, Soojin, quits. She agrees under false pretenses that she is hosting as his girlfriend. At the event, he shows his art. He and Marnie go to in private, where she learns the two aren't actually together. After Marnie apologizes, he admits he hates his friends and everyone at the party. After he breaks a few wine bottles and breaks down, Marnie leaves.
